VSNL does have good conection
VSNL does have good conection , but once is starts giveing trouble ..well there is no end
i had the connection for more than 1 year and one fine day it stopped working (cable theft , thats what vsnl local engineer told me )
after thats my complaints automatically get resolved in customer care ( FOR FAKE SLA sake )
i get new complaint id every time i called
service would start and then again stop working after few days
then one fine day service went down and did not work for 6 days and thats when i canceled the service and took airtel
i miss the tata connection , they charged more but there speed was amazing ( till it started giving problem )
but then airtel broadband is better in sense they have proper wireing and i never had a outage more than a yer with then now (apart form faulty handset they provided with the connection and refuse to replace )

Well buddy, its good to hear that you have an alternative available. VSNL's broadband connection is definitely a good option - if they can make it work - as you rightly pointed out. Its amazing how a company can manage to make every aspect of its business suck big time every time. The customer service, the network management, almost everything about Tata VSNL is wrong!
i have had horrible experience with VSNL. the cable "gets stolen " and immagine in todays world the small office is with out connectivity. there should be a law to arrest senior executives of companies like VSNL. they know that this will happen yet they do not provide quality service. airtel also has cable but i have never heard of "stolen " lines.
one individual is helpless (inspite of slogans like "the power of one") wish i could send a letter to the supreme court and some judge would summon the directors of VSNL and atleast send them for "kar sewa" for harrassing customers like me. i an sure there must be a low like a "class action " suite etc . now at this moment my "wired" broadband is not working for last 3 days. they have called me abt WIMAX and i said go ahead i will pay 1100 rs (against 450 earlier) (although its is blackmail - i have to survive). yet for the third day no one has come to install the WIMAX . AND the worst thing is that they have not restored the cable broadband saying that"they are migrating to WIMAX hence the delay. on eprobably can "migrate" to the USA faster.
The only "good thing" is that they had a very sweet sounding girl who called and profusely apologised in a very articulate voice - may be they are hiring out of work actors from "sas bhe kabhi bahu the type of serials from "colours".
Mr MD of Vsnl, I hope you are not able to sleep after what your team has done to me and Mr REattan Tata - I have lost faith in the TATA Brand. All thanks to VSNL which was bought by your rotten team.

I have purchase my domain fromyou which is valid till 16.03.11 & hosting is valid till 16.03.14 kindly refund the amount if not possible please credit the amount to my broadband account as everyday I have to complain. If my problem is not short out I will lodge the case against your company in consumer court as well as in normal court for mental harrassment I am getting due to this.
I am trying to get the mail ID of chairman to send this mail that this company is shame for your brand.
