Your net gave me error 691 and error 692 , and connected for a few minutes only !
The net is still down after 2 weeks and hope you all are still at VSNL !

Jasleen – as I understand that nothing can be done till Tuesday , what should I make out of VSNL , as the same apathy is continuing since months !
Mudit – Given that there are so many excuses for not giving proper service – why not refund the amount to me and part ways ?

As a customer , I am completely dissatisfied . Paying for a month and getting service for half is not what I expect .
Your services are not able to meet , even the basic requirements .
This has been going on for 10 months now , and apart from empty words , little has been done .
What explanations do you have to offer?

VSNL is a lousy organization! When my connection went down they didnt repair it for one week. So I asked for disconnection and was confirmed that the services have been disconnected. But they're still sending me bills! And every time I complain they say that they will get it rectified. Now the shameless people have sent me a LEGAL NOTICE saying that they'll take me to court for not paying Rs.2000/- for their services! Look at the cronology of the events:
- The last valid usage bill that I received was on 1st June '06 for Rs.1276.67/- I promptly paid Rs.1300/-
- Then on 27 June '06, I intimated them (by phone as well as by email) for discountinuing the broadband service due to connection going down since 20 June '06 and no one coming to fix it inspite of several phone calls.
- On subsequent phone calls I was told that the connection has been terminated and a person from Tata would come and pick up the modem from my house. In the meantime I had also disconnected the modem and stopped using the service altogether
- Then on 22 July '06 I received a bill that clearly states that there are no outstanding dues from my side and after the payment of the last bill, I am actually owed Rs.24/- by VSNL.
- After this I did not receive any bill in Aug '06 (for billing period of July '06). This implies that the connection has been terminated and there are no dues.
- Then suddenly in 11 Sep '06 I received a bill for Rs.1514.78/- which says that I have a previous outstanding amount of Rs.953.58/- and also usage charges of Rs.561.20/- for the month of August '06.
- VSNL person came on Dec 20th and took the modem with him.
- They sent a legal notice on 30 Dec '06!
I've had no service from them since 20th June 2006 and I'm still getting billed and served Notice!!!! How in God's name does this organization work!!!!!
u get error 691 when network settings in ur pc is wrong or one the files(telephon.ini, i guess) in the C:\WINDOWS folder is corrupted. Its not the problem of ur isp.
